BULLETIN BOARD

Welcome Rev. Bill & Kim!

On July 1st, Rev. Bill and Kim Fisackerly will come to serve as our pastoral family. Their first Sunday with us will be July 7th.

Rev. Bill and Kim have been serving together for 38 years – more than that, if you count when they met at United Methodist Children’s Camp in Brandon in 1982! Through seminary in Atlanta, 4 years in Deltona, 4 years at Sopchoppy/Ochlockonee Bay, 11 years in Estero, 10 in Port Charlotte, and then 2 in Tampa, 3 ½ at Marco Island, and 2 ½ in Bonita Springs – they have traveled the state!

At every appointment they have found good, honest people who just want to love the Lord and their neighbors around them. They come to us with the expectation that God has called them to serve in Lake Wales for a reason, and there will be ways to serve with joy and hope in bringing people to love Jesus more.

“The Rev. Dr. William A. Fisackerly, IV” ( pronounced Fi-SACK-er-ly with either a long or short “I” – your preference!) prefers to be called Rev. Bill. He and Kim have three children – Bethany (with Mike, up in Richmond, VA), Allyson (with Phil and the grandchildren Ollie and Annie in Orlando), and Wil (with Jo, in Oklahoma).

Rev. Bill loves fishing, playing guitar, playing disc golf, and mangos. Kim loves theater, singing, and being “Mimi” to the grandkids. Kim also works with Weight Watchers and at Publix. Both love finding new ways for people to hear the “old, old story” so that they can grow in their faith.
